All participants are asks to wear a face covering in the start/finish area. One will be sent to you when you register for the event. It is up to the individual whether he/she wear the face covering out on the routes.
Because of COVID there will be no aide stations along the any of the routes. For the 8 mile route there are bathrooms and water at the 4 mile mark. For the 32 and 60 mile route there are public bathrooms and water stations. On the 62 mile route, FitBar will be offering smoothies at about the 30 mile mark. There is a bathroom there and water.
Individual plastic water bottles will be given out at the start and it is your responsibility to put it in your own water container/bottle. Bananas, Cuties, and individually wrapped fig bars will be given out at the beginning. If this is not enough for any individual, then IT IS THE RESPOSONIBILITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN FOOD AND WATER. We are sorry for this but county regulation will not allow us to have any aide stations.
We want this to be a fun and enjoyable event for every one. We are please and excited that Hoag Hospital has supported us in this effort.
See you on June 5th!
