John Curtis

John Curtis was riding his bike along the Santa Ana River Trail and stopped to take a drink of water. He noticed Marty Furman, who happened to be wearing a SoCal Ride for Parkinson’s bike jersey. John told Marty that he had just been diagnosed with PD and asked Marty what was SoCal Ride all about. Marty told him. This year, John joined in on the ride and raised over $2,500! He now has a broader community that he can connect with because of this event.
